At this year’s MIPIM, Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole and its partner SERM-SA3M presented the main urban projects shaping the metropolitan area of tomorrow.
What is MIPIM?A genuine 4-day city planning festival in Cannes, the International Market for Property Professionals (MIPIM) influences and accelerates transformation in the building and city development sector.
MIPIM is a catalyst for tangible solutions, offering a mix of face-to-face discussions, active leadership, development opportunities, and global investment to drive change. The event is an opportunity for local officials and communities to learn about new real estate projects and market trends.
One of the major challenges for the property sector is adapting to new ways of living and working, and anticipating the needs of French people in terms of the environment and social inclusion.
This year’s event attracted 23,000 participants (20% more than in 2021), 6,000 investors, 90 countries, 4 government ministers, 150 elected officials… and for Montpellier, 4 intense and enriching days, 4 architectural “Folies”, and free tramway access announced by Michaël Delafosse, Mayor of Montpellier and President of Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole!
Discover the 4 “Folies”, modern-day architectural marvelsMontpellier Métropole to promote its economic attractiveness through conferences; show its commitment to real estate transformation, territorial reindustrialization, and territorial cooperation with Sète; and through culture, as demonstrated by the Montpellier-Sète bid for the title of European Capital of Culture in 2028, not to mention the local Cultural and Creative Industries sector, which is growing rapidly.
