Health Autonomy Hub: expertise center and innovation accelerator

Écrit le

Evolving healthcare needs are fundamentally reshaping markets as the population ages and people face disabilities and life-altering events. In this context, the Health Autonomy Hub serves as a resource center that provides concrete solutions to users’ needs while acting as a strategic lever for local businesses and project leaders.

A unique ecosystem dedicated to supporting independent living

Over 700 assistive devices and technologies are on display in a modern, practical 2,400 m² building featuring several shared spaces. Open to all, the Health Autonomy Hub is a place where individuals and professionals can come to receive information and support, and benefit from concrete solutions for independent living and home care.

Over 2,000 professionals welcomed annually and 700 home visits

In addition, the center addresses the key challenge of better aligning supply and demand in a fragmented sector. Manufacturers, healthcare professionals, innovative companies, and end-users interact with each other on a daily basis, helping to shape a rapidly growing industry.

A space dedicated to meeting others

Many themed events for professionals are held throughout the year, bringing the space to life and encouraging the exchange of expertise and experience. The most recent event took place on April 14, with more than a hundred professionals participating in Adaptive Mobility Day.

Meetings and conferences are regularly hosted in a 150-seat auditorium. In keeping with this collective spirit, a coworking space will open soon, while plans for a fablab are currently being explored.

A catalyst for businesses and innovation

Designed as a space where people can come together, the hub facilitates interaction, experimentation, and networking.

Florence Gressard, development manager, describes the Health Autonomy Hub as “a dynamic place where expertise is shared and synergies between stakeholders and users are nurtured.”

The Health Autonomy Hub is already home to several organizations, such as Mes Cas de Comptoir, Cabinet Montémont, and Binom Mobile, soon to be joined by Handiscop. They all benefit from an environment that is conducive to co-design, in collaboration with professionals and users. This proximity to the real world allows companies to refine their products and accelerate their development, which is a major asset for innovation.

Note: several workspaces are still available for lease.
