Cambacérès connected to the heart of the city: tramway opens the way

As of October 18, 2025, the Cambacérès district is taking a new step in its transformation thanks to the arrival of the tramway. The extension of line 1 provides a direct link between Cambacérès and downtown Montpellier in just 20 minutes. Another major change is that the line now connects to the Sud de France train station, facilitating local, regional, and national travel.
